Depending on the spell, curse, or menta level we are casting this at, we look at the spell or magical effect on the target, we compute the difference in spell level, and making a contesting roll against the original caster's bending skill. If none is given, we make against DC 10 + difference given, rolling our bending weapon skill (or magic if cast from a magical item) to the effect in place.
